Management and Science University (MSU)

MSU began as a university college (KUTPM) in 2001. After a full university status was conferred in October 2007, the university adopted a new name - Management and Science University (MSU). The full university status is an important milestone achieved by MSU as it demonstrates its growth to prominence in the tertiary education sector in Malaysia.

The birth and success of MSU has been attributed to the success of its collegiate institutions, the PTPL Group of Colleges which made its debut 3 decades ago. Besides achieving a few firsts in the local education landscape, MSU which has a student body of 14,000 has been consistently strong in several critical areas of studies.

Our vision is to be a global university of choice, providing quality education which is relevant to current needs and without compromising on moral and ethical standards. The success of our students is of paramount importance, as such, an intellectually stimulating learning environment is created within the university.
The establishment of MSU is also considered as timely as the nation progresses towards attaining a developed nation status by 2020. Our focus in the relevant and critical areas as well as research and development in these areas will help spur knowledge and ideas that will put Malaysia on course towards achieving the developed nation objective.

MSU is well-positioned to be one of the leading universities in the country providing industry relevant diploma, bachelor degree and postgraduate courses and research disciplines.
